The Position: CFO
Location: China – Changzhou, Jiangsu (Near from Shanghai)
Position in Organization: Reports to the Global CFO (Israel base)
Our client is a world-leading supplier of value-adding nutrients and nutrient formulations to the food and beverage industry. The product portfolio includes natural carotenoids, such as lycopene, lutein and beta-carotene; vitamins and minerals; amino acids; and other functional ingredients.
Building on its established reputation in ingredient sourcing, quality manufacture of bespoke nutrient blends, and customer service second-to-none, our client’s new facility in Changzhou will be an important platform for the company's development worldwide.
Job Description
§Responsible for financial management of the company.
§Directs short and long-term profit plans and budgets for the business.
§Directs the preparation and interpretation of company financial operating results ensuring time reporting.
§Continuously reviews factors affecting the cost of administration, operations and activities, takes necessary corrective actions to keep costs consistent with strategic objectives.
§Establishes procedures and systems necessary to provide adequate financial controls assuring compliance with Group policy as well as compliance to China reporting, tax standards and foreign exchange regulations, and reconciliation to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as required.
§Coordinates the preparation of financial performance plans.
§Directs forecasts and budget projections for ensuing start-up.
§Analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and determines their financial impact.
§Coordinate with external auditors in compliance with Group, company and government requirements.
§Liaison to Group Finance and company staffs.
§Fulfill any Chinese, international or Group statutory requirements.
§Coordinate tax/customs issues with consultants and authorities
§Maintain daily relations with the banks and arrange financial loans as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
§More than 10 years working experience in Finance area at Multinational Corporation, at least 5 years experience in managing team of people.
§University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Masters of Business Administration desired. CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
§Sound knowledge of IFRS and PRC GAAP.(Working at one of the 4 big international accountants firm- advantage).
§Excellent command of English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
§Good computer skills with strong MS-excel & PPT skills, familiarity with Hyperion system and
§The SAP system will be preferred.
§Strong analytical, interpersonal and time management skills.
