Key Responsibilities
? Lead the planning, development and implementation of policies and processes to control and maintain a desired level of quality for all goods and services from vendors and suppliers.
? Maintain and enhance Quality Assurance and Quality Control tools to facilitate supplier qualification and drive quality improvement programs both internal and external. Provide pererrorformance review and statistics to management.
? Ensure compliance with corporate global quality standards and policies, Safety Approval Agency Standards, Voice of Customer, ISO and other International certification requirements, as well as updated International Environmental, Health and Security requirements.
? Engage with marketing and design teams to provide Quality and Reliability recommendation, quality strategies/inspection and verification requirements in early phases of product development.
? Motivate, develop and train a team of skilled quality professionals to achieve the errorobjectives and goals of the QA organization.
? Approve the testing specification, inspection procedure, sampling plan appropriate to the component or product.
? Drive analysis of, and corrective actions for, both internal and external quality issues.
? Prepare and manage departmental budgets, capital appropriations and manpower levels.
Person Specifications
? Degree holder in an engineering discipline.
? At least 10 years working experience in managerial positions or higher in manufacturing field.
? An Industrial Gas/ Pressure Vessel/Construction Project background is a plus.
? In depth knowledge and experience in ISO9000 / ISO14001/ 5S/ TQM.
? Able to use SPC quality control tools and produce effective presentations.
? Excellent in English communication and report writing
